North Market
The North Market is one of the most entertaining places to visit in Columbus, Ohio.
This could be one of the biggest farmer’s markets you’ve ever seen.

Starting in June and concluding in October, North Market is open on Saturdays and Sundays.

Center of Science and Industry
Although the Center of Science and Industry is largely aimed at youngsters, adults will undoubtedly appreciate the hundreds of interactive exhibits. Since its inception in 1964, the Scioto River Science Center has nurtured and inspired an interest in science and technology in numerous generations.
You’ll find intriguing displays on anything from dinosaurs to space exploration to energy and inventions, as well as fun hands-on experiments and activities for kids.
Visitors can see informative films and documentaries in the 3D theatre and planetarium, in addition to exhilarating live science events and demonstrations.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
Any animal-loving family visiting Columbus should go to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. It’s not officially in Columbus, but it’s only a short drive north of the downtown centre, making it a convenient destination to explore.
The Columbus Zoo first opened its doors in 1927 with a small collection of animals and has since expanded to include not just a zoo but also a full aquarium and even its own on-site water park. If you fall in love with the Columbus Zoo during your visit, you may see it on television because it now has its own series, Secrets of the Zoo, on the Nat Geo WILD channel.
Topiary Park
Topiary Park is conveniently located in downtown Columbus, near some of the museums and sites you may want to see anyway. Swing by the park for some fresh air and a peek at the humorous figures fashioned out of skillfully arranged flora.
The topiaries are meant to represent all of the characters from Georges Seurat’s painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. The park is open nearly 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing you lots of opportunities to visit and explore.
Ohio Stadium
If you only have time to witness one sporting event while in town, make it to Ohio Stadium to see the Ohio State Buckeyes play. It is one of the most known stadiums in the world, with its loud supporters making every match an exciting and exhilarating experience. It is nicknamed “the Horseshoe” due to its distinctive design.
The massive arena, which first opened in 1922, has been enlarged and remodelled multiple times over the years and now has the biggest capacity in the state. While tickets to see the Buckeyes play are often in short supply, participating in the atmosphere and attending pre- and post-game festivities is just as enjoyable.
In addition, the stadium is a popular music venue, with major bands such as Pink Floyd, Beyonce, and Taylor Swift drawing large crowds to the university campus.
